SUMMARY
Forté 1. Internet Savvy - demonstrated record in how to get out 'there' - impacting the Google PageRank Bar Meter - without it costing an arm and a leg. Proof - Internet footprint: "Hogan" is a very common name, shared by many well-to-dos: celebrities, bankers, lawyers, professors - but just Google: "Hogan Sydney" " The ultimate professional reference came when The National Library of Australia requested twice to archive Pete's website (NLA Pandora ref. 44031). 2. Zeitgeister - original ideas for our times - thinktanking outside the box - not just fancy stylewriting of a novelist, but the ability to convey "Content is king!" (famously intoned by Sumner Redstone the man who fired Tom Cruise from Paramount Pictures) - from WebWriter to ScriptWriter. 3. Background Pete grew up in Sydney. An initial career in finance and administration took him to Japan in the late 80s. He ended up marrying the secretary of the company hosting the convention and living there for most of the 90s. Through his Japanese wife and her well-connected father he was able to really get an inside understanding of the Japanese way of doing business. He continues to return regularly to Japan to develop a pet project with multi-billion dollar sales potential, that still, no big company has stumbled onto. Back in Sydney Pete has been developing various projects, in particular one that was born out of a concept he picked up in Japan when going away with his wife's family for the annual O-Bon festival - respecting ancestors. Specifically that lead to the Australians of Arabia Project. Presently, assisting savvy public schools looking to form long-term mutually beneficial relationships with savvy sponsors. The school gets supplemental funding for Wish List items. The sponsor goes on the school's Recommended Supplier List to all the parents, who in turn become a valuable focus group, providing more reliable consumer feedback to the service/goods supplier, through completing surveys. The supplier's ads appear on the school 'commercial site' - but in an Internet TV format e.g. next to the ad, there's a school iTV news report video of the supplier presenting the school with equipment (e.g. electronic Interactive White Board, Filmmaking equipment) especially at special events attended by VIPs (Education Minister, Premier) may be some mainstream media coverage. The supplier is seen as being fair dinkum / altruistic. Everybody wins. Pete Inside Japan Lived in Japan most of the 90s. In Japan worked mainly as a copywriter and speechwriter. Was able to get inside Japan. Could be very useful to any Australian Export company looking to expand into the Japanese market. Pete is able to move around Japan without it costing an arm and leg, and without being intimidated - no mean feat in a country that is notorious for making things difficult and expensive for foreigners.

This project originally conceived over 10 years ago while doing family history research has now come to the fore, due to the salivating over the lucrative opportunities with the looming WWI 100th Anniversary Celebration market. The chance to even the score - redemption for the Australian Light Horse. AOA is best explained by viewing the webpages. One of the next steps is to find an Australian Country Town to locate our AOA Film Studios, Theme Park and Factory for manufacturing our promotional merchandise. Just look what Baz Luhrmann's Australia film has done for Tourism WA in the Kimberleys and Bowen NQld, which he used to recreate the bombing of Darwin. Kings Cross Online One of the other projects Pete was developing was Kings Cross Online - an internet directory for the famous local area - a company was incorporated and website developed (ASIC - ACN 094 450 521 founded Sept '2000). Then the whole idea including the company name got plagiarized by the City of Sydney Council. Just could not match the deep pockets of rate payer funds to sue them. Ended up having to re-invent the site as "KX Dispatches" with the focus particularly on projects that promote country Australia and the inate Billjim spirit. Pre-Japan - After Graduation Going back to the early years (in the 80s) after graduating from university Finance & Admin career with a German pharmaceutical multinational (Boehringer Ingelheim, now at Ryde) which took me to Japan.
