Improving "The Internet's Sexiest Model Contest" (TISM):
We are always looking for ways to improve the Contest and are now reviewing Sydney Nightclubs to find the one with the right attributes to be the "Home of TISM" - in a similar way to how Tropfest started all those years ago at Tropicana restaurant in the Cross. And doing reciprocal promotion with other Official TISM Suppliers, including a Sydney City Clothing Store and Hair Salon. So we can say our models, and of course Contest Creator, Pete - are "Dressed By ..." and "Hair Styling By ..."
The plan is to have a Big TISM Awards Night at the winning Nightclub. And in the leadup weeks to showcase our finalists Saturday Nights at the Club, and around Sydney - everything webcammed to our website here for viewing live around the world.
So TISM is envisioned to be more similar in design set up to "Tropfest" and "Reality Internet TV" than the typical beauty contest (like Miss World).
Viewers / websurfers, many using mobile phones, will be very much involved in following the finalists, eliminations, and determining the winner.

Another important consideration is incorporating into the design of the Contest a way to handle the usual criticisms by the prudish, feminists and the just plain jealous, re that it's female exploitation, etc.
So we are thinking about emphasizing a major difference to traditional beauty contests. TISM would put the emphasis on, well, simple 'Nature' - the reality is we all try to look as sexy as we can to improve our social position, some do better than others... scientifically we are talking about Evolutionary Psychology regarding sex in a fun way. Here we're thinking in a similar way to "Dr Tatiana" aka Olivia Judson - evolutionary biologist, refer her TV doco series and book - maybe we can get her involved!
TISM will continue for now as a contest for the fairer sex, later we will do the same for the guys.

Our aim is to keep the contest going literally forever, slowly but surely increasing its popularity (Tropfest started from nothing) helping previous entrants. Also you can incorporate any recognition through search engines into your résumé.
The more you support it, the more it helps all our models over the years - just often entering the keywords "The Internet's Sexiest Model Contest" with your name, in search engines all over the place helps our contest's presitige a lot - and tell everyone you can about it.
And a general reminder to all those thinking of entering, this is not yet a 'highbrow' contest, if you want that try the Miss World contest or pay some agent hundreds of dollars just to register.

The Career Bonus - You could be the next Christie Hefner!
With the need for constant improvements to stay viable, the Contest's creator, Peter Hogan is looking for one of the past finalists, or perhaps the next winner, to get involved in the development of the Contest, and one day becoming Chief Executive Officer of the separate company that will be setup to ensure its longevity. Yep, you could become a salaried executive, with an expense account and lots of overseas travel. The ultimate company would also offer stock options and profit sharing to not only the TISM finalist that becomes CEO but the all the others that help it grow.
Who understands what being sexy is all about, and how to make it better and more attractive to our market than the girls themselves. Also we will soon be using more videos, webcams and partnering with a Sydney City Nightclub, Clothing Shop, et al. You don't need to have a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard, just firm belief in the Product - that TISM has the right attributes (just the catchy name alone!) to be successful over the longterm. Think of Hugh Hefner's daughter, Christie, she is now Chairman and CEO of his famous Playboy Enterprises Inc. At the very least you will get written into Pete's Will.

In these early development years we are running on a shoestring budget. Pete needs a TISM finalist who can spend a few hours a week hanging out in the main spots of Sydney City e.g. at his Town Hall 'Office' (see below), Circular Quay and various Top Nightclubs - i.e. candidates to be selected to showcase our Finalists on Saturday Nights and hold our big Awards Ceremony. We'll be promoting TISM, with a special focus on 'YOU' as not just a TISM girl but also our 'Christie' - a Marketing Executive, helping with designing the usual promotional gear, making promo videos, featuring in our webcams, interviewing potential TISM models...
If you are coming from outside Sydney, or Australia, Pete can help you with visas, finding a job and a place to live - hopefully soon we will have a TISM pad where you can crash. But first, you will have to pass an interview with Pete's daughter - not quite as accomplished as Christie yet, but extremely precocious - will probably have her own film production company before she is 10!
